April 22, 2013 - ONESTEP SOLUTIONS DISCONTINUES WORKSWELL AND DRAWWELL

Having stopped selling DrawWell, WorksWell and ReportWell in 2012 we have decided that version 2.9.6 will be our last release and recommend all customers upgrade to such for best compatibility with 10.7 & 10.8.

Customers requiring replacement licences, when upgrading or replacing their systems, please see the support section.

As far as we are aware, version 2.9.6 functions correctly on Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks).

WorksWell 2.9 and DrawWell 2.9 are now available. They have the following feature enhancements

  • Universal binaries for Intel based Mac support
  • Separate menu items for Underline and Strikethrough text attributes
  • Added a button for easier access to the Merge Token Panel's find functions
  • Locking/Unlocking a document switches the toolbar to be appropriate to the lock state
  • Rotation tool gets a sheet to enter a precise rotation value
  • Added a Save As... action to the resource inspector so that you can save embedded resources (eg. images)
  • Enabled the Parallelogram shape's aspect control point
  • Enabled text shaping for Polygons and Arrow shapes
  • Selection and Zoom rectangles do the 'marching ants' thing
  • Redragging in a referenced image resource will make the resource reload (eg. after editing in iPhoto)

  • Conditional Groups allow conditions to be set on their content graphics to control their printing
  • WorksWell's reporting capability supports Conditional Groups to allow more sophisticated reports
  • PolyCurves and PolyLines can now be closed
  • PolyCurves and PolyLines now support fill styles whether they are open or closed
  • "Spring loaded" groups and "hover selection" of graphics during dragging
  • Addition of Export Page option to the Export panel
  • Custom measurement units can be loaded from an external plist file
  • Support for iTunes 5 and 6 in WorksWell

  • Improvments to the Line Nodes Inspector
  • The zoom tool is active in the page border areas
  • The minimum stroke width has been reduced to 0.12 pt and can be reduced further by user defaults
