WorksWell is a powerful document creation tool with excellent graphics capabilities and many novel and useful features. Documents can be multi-paged, pages can be multi-layered and graphic objects can be grouped into more complex shapes. Documents can be made into palettes so their contents are conveniently available to be reused in other documents. Using palettes allows you to build up comprehensive libraries of easy to use building blocks, or use themed palettes that others have created.

Another great feature is the ability to have many styles applied to an objects drawing path, eg lines of different widths and colors laid over each other, allowing the easy creation of some very cool effects. You really have to see, and try, this to appreciate it! Collections of styles are called Appearances and these can be stored in a palette for repeated use. Appearances can be dropped onto multiple selections to quickly change many objects at once.

You will find WorksWell is very easy, quick and responsive to use with extensive use of drag/drop and live drawing during all editing. Special control handles on some objects directly manipulate their shape and configuration. A very comprehensive collection of context sensitive inspectors allow precise setting of all parameters.

One of WorksWell's more unusual and also very powerful features is its built-in merging capability. Merge tokens are dragged onto the document, later these are substituted with actual data when the document is printed. When merging is combined with the Matrix feature you can produce numbered tickets, labels, etc.

You can use WorksWell to create attractive and sophisticated newsletters, posters, labels, invitations, tickets, diagrams, reports, charts, graphs, presentations...

WorksWell has been designed so that its functionality can be extended by plug-ins. In this way further graphic tools, inspectors and features can be added to the WorksWell application. Parts of WorksWell are already plug-ins that DrawWell Technologies have included as standard, e.g. Presentation, PDF markup, Charts and custom data adaptors for enhanced merging.

We offer full support for 3rd party developers to create WorksWell plug-ins, so there should be plenty more to look forward to in the future.
