When a multi-page PDF file is dropped on to a new WorksWell document, each page of the PDF is placed in its own layer on a new page of the WorksWell document. In addition to this PDF layer, WorksWell automatically creates a markup layer with the user name that can be used for the annotation, critique, review, etc. If the document is being reviewed by more than one person, then each reviewer can add their own layer.
WorksWell adds special tools to the toolbox that allow creation of proof reading marks such as transpose and insert.
Using the native PDF creation of Mac OS X WorksWell can, of course, save its output to a PDF file. In this way, the original PDF document can be sent back complete with the reviewers marks and comments.
The uses of WorksWell extend beyond document markup and review. For example, it is ideal for teachers marking homework submitted as PDF documents. WorksWell also turns WorksWell into a very fast and flexible PDF document viewer.
Below is a sample document so you can begin to get an idea of what WorksWell PDF can do.
